Texting terms

Texting terms

These terms cover Blutusk texting: the texts between you and Buffalo Computer Technology LLC d/b/a Blutusk about something you asked the shop. Blutusk sells and services phones, tablets, computers, game consoles, accessories, and custom PCs at 3768 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224. People text the shop instead of calling. A usual text asks whether a phone is in stock, or whether the shop can repair the HDMI port on a PlayStation. Blutusk texts back about that request: whether the item is in, whether the repair can be done, a question that has to be answered to do the work, or that a repair is ready. These terms are effective November 2, 2026. This page is https://blutusk.com/sms-terms/.

Effective November 2, 2026

The program

Program name: Blutusk texting.

The texts are about a product or a repair you asked about. You might ask if a particular phone is in, or if a PlayStation HDMI port can be repaired. A text from Blutusk is a reply about that request: whether the item is in, whether the shop can do the repair, a question Blutusk needs answered to do the work, or notice that a repair is ready. The conversation stays on that matter.

Blutusk does not use this texting to send mass promotions, coupons, loyalty offers, sweepstakes messages, or recurring marketing texts.

How you opt in

You opt in only in one of these ways:

  • You text (716) 608-6874 or (716) 352-5674, or
  • You ask a Blutusk employee, in the store or by phone, to text you, and you give your mobile number for that conversation.

When you do either of those, you agree to these terms and to receive texts about that conversation.

A phone number on the website inquiry form is not an opt-in. That form does not ask for separate texting consent, and Blutusk does not treat a number entered there as a request for texts.

Whose number you use

You should be the account holder for the mobile number, or have the account holder’s permission to use it.

How often we text

Message frequency varies. It follows the conversation. Most texts are replies. A repair, or an item you asked about, may take a few follow-ups until that matter is done. There is no set schedule and no fixed number of messages.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Blutusk does not charge a texting fee. Your carrier may still charge you under your own plan.

Opting out

Reply STOP to opt out. Stopall, unsubscribe, cancel, end, and quit mean the same thing, in any capitalization. You will get one text confirming the opt-out. After that, Blutusk will not send more texts from either (716) 608-6874 or (716) 352-5674 unless you text again or ask to resume.

Texting again means a new text from you, such as another question or a reply of HELP. Blutusk may answer that text. It does not put you on a separate list. You can also ask to resume in person or by phone: tell an employee you want texts again and give your mobile number for that conversation.

Help

Reply HELP for help. You can also call (716) 608-6874, text (716) 608-6874 or (716) 352-5674, or email pros@blutusk.com. Both numbers and that email are the help contacts.

The shop is open Monday–Friday 10 AM–7 PM and Saturday 10 AM–3 PM. Sunday the shop is closed. Holiday hours vary. Someone answers texts while the shop is open. A text sent while the shop is closed waits until the shop is open again.

Texting is not required

You do not have to text in order to shop, get a repair, or ask a question. Consent to these texts is not a condition of purchase.

You can call (716) 608-6874, email pros@blutusk.com, use the inquiry form on https://blutusk.com, or walk into the shop.

Sharing and privacy

Blutusk texting is not affiliate marketing. Blutusk does not sell or share the mobile opt-in with affiliates or other businesses for their marketing.

How your number is handled is described in the privacy notice at https://blutusk.com/sms-privacy/.

The messaging provider that delivers the texts may process the message so it can be sent.

Delayed or missed texts

Wireless carriers deliver the messages. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Abuse

Blutusk can stop texting someone who abuses it. That includes threats, spam, and unlawful requests.

Changes to these terms

Blutusk can update these terms by posting a new version at https://blutusk.com/sms-terms/. The effective date will change. If you keep texting with Blutusk after an update is posted, you accept the new terms.

If a change is material to a conversation already underway, Blutusk will make the new terms available on this page. Blutusk does not send a separate email to announce term changes.

Governing law

New York law governs these terms. Disputes about them are heard in the state or federal courts in Erie County, New York.
